Staying slender comes easy for some. But for the rest of us mortals, it takes work. Hell lot of work at times.
Thankfully, all is not lost. Whoever said “No pain, no gain” was on to something.
You don’t have to kill yourself with relentless workouts and diets to achieve the figure you desire.
All it takes is some, discipline, determination and knowledge.
As humans, we all have our pain points that drove us to do something courageous or share our experiences.
What drove me to start slenderseries.com was the desire to share my experiences that I’ve accumulated over more than 20 years. You don’t need a PHD or certificate to have intimate knowledge about a subject. You just need to have gone through the school of hard knocks.
Diagnosed as being morbidly obese as a kid, that made growing up a real pain. Lack of fashion choices, getting insulted, teased, etc. It wasn’t until in my teens that I decided to take responsibilty for my weight and started to do something about it.
I read voraciously about nutrition, diet types and topics related to weight loss. There’s only so much you can do with just reading hence I starting experimenting the accumulated knowledge on myself.
I tested out the different macros, calorie intake, diet types, aerobic and anaerobic exercises on myself. I even tested out many different fat burners to see what worked and what didn’t.
It was a fairly long and tedious process which required tons of dedication and discipline. It was just so much easier to say “screw this shit” and reach for the bag of chips.
Took me a good 5 years of trial and error to know how my body responded to weight loss tactics and I’ve kept the weight off ever since.
I hope that I can now put my knowledge to good use and help those that are going through the same struggles.
Not just with trying to lose weight but trying to live a healthy lifestyle as well.
Feel free to drop me a note to clarify any doubts or questions that you might have and I’ll be happy to help you out.
